Permanent Residency and Thai Citizenship Applications

This service is primarily intended for families who are stateless or without nationality, as well as children of migrant workers who were born and raised in Thailand or have resided in the country for a long time. Relevant laws—such as the Civil Registration Act, Immigration Act, Nationality Act, and related regulations—provide that these groups may access such rights under less stringent conditions and within a shorter timeframe compared to most foreign nationals.

Our services in this area include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Application for permanent residency
• Application for Thai nationality under Section 23 or Section 7 bis, paragraph 2 (for children of ethnic minorities or migrant workers born in Thailand)
• Application for Thai nationality through marriage (for ethnic minority women married to Thai men)
• Application for naturalization as a Thai citizen (for ethnic minorities who have lived in Thailand for a long time and have held permanent residency for at least five years)
• Application for a birth certificate (for those born in Thailand without official birth records)
• Application for reinstatement of removed registration records
• Follow-up on pending applications and expediting of delayed consideration processes

Our service fees start from THB 20,000 within the districts of Mueang Chiang Mai, Mae Rim, San Sai, Saraphi, and Hang Dong.
For other areas, additional travel and accommodation expenses may apply, depending on the distance. The above fees do not include government fees, document translation costs (if any), DNA testing fees (if any), or other similar expenses.

For general foreign nationals who have resided in Thailand for an extended period and wish to apply for permanent residency, Thai nationality through marriage, or naturalization as a Thai citizen, we consider such cases on an individual basis.
